Three Day Figure Drawing Workshop taught by renowned Artist and instructor Lothar Speer. 5 - 7 pm on April 10, 11, and 12, 2023. Fee includes all three days.
About Lothar:
Lothar Speer studied at Vienna’s National Academy of The Fine Arts where he drew the figure 5 days a week, 4 hrs a day for 2 years culminating in a national award for this body of work. He received his MFA at Philadelphia’s Pennsylvania Academy of The Fine Arts. 2 years ago he received a public art commission in a national competition for the lobby of the new Monroe county court house on Plantation Key, FL. He loves sharing the traditional approach to image making, as originally taught in the French Academy of 19th c Paris, which does not rely on talent but rather empowers students with the skill necessary to achieve greater visual acuity and a studio practice that guarantees solid results.
