A mission to support, encourage, and showcase the work of local artists
The Old Island Days Art Festival, in its 58thyear, is a time-honored tradition in Key West dating back to the early 60’s when the Old Island Days 10-week celebration of tourist season included special events each week. The show has grown from about 20 local artists gathering around the Customs House to nearly 100 artists from near and far spreading up Whitehead Street and on to Caroline Street in the beautiful Truman Annex Residential gated community. Fine Craftsmen and Artists will be selected to show and sell their original work in beautiful Old Town Key West. The artists are selected from the 100s of applications we receive and include both new and returning artists to the delight of our locals and visitors. We will be enjoying the beautiful new updates on Whitehead Street just one block from our famous Duval Street. New sidewalks and street paving will make this beautiful tree lined street even more enjoyable for out artists and guests.
Set up for the show is Saturday morning at 6 AM and the show will be open to the public from 10 AM to 5 PM both Saturday and Sunday.
Artists are encouraged to read the show prospectus and other info on the application at Zapplication. Deadline for applications is October 15, 2022.
We are accepting applications through Zapplication.org beginning on June 1, 2022. Application deadline is October 15, 2022.
